Belt Cleaning for Meat Processing
The Air Knife System can continuously clear both sides of cutting belts of pieces, blood and fats while the belt is in use. This results in drastically reduced sanitation times. The same air knives can dry belts after sanitation in 2 to 3 passes, not 2 to 3 hours. Maintenance and manual cleaning is virtually eliminated. Waste is confined to a designated cleaning area. The Air Knife System can be designed to add up to 60ºF over ambient temperature to the drying air stream. High-velocity high-temperature air can be used to remove frost and even ice from freezer belts. This means less defrost time and less product slippage on frozen belts. Reduced maintenance and faster belt speed is another advantage.
