Prior to packaging, the air knife system is used to blow crumbs and dust from products to prevent unwanted products from entering the package. A lean dust-free product not only looks better, but it also packages better. The hot crimp seal works better and faster if the dust particles are not on the film. If static is the problem, the air knife blow-off comes with the optional Haug anti-static bar to reverse the static charge in the film. The dust drops off and the film forms with ease.
